Ronda Rousey Reveals Being Scared & Fearful In Her Fights; UFC Champ Shows Appreciation For Beyonce On Instagram

Ronda Rousey may display such dominance in her fights, but the UFC champ reportedly divulged that the reason for that was because she was scared and fearful.

Rousey, who is now preparing for her fight against the 19-time boxing champion Holly Holm, which was moved from Jan. 2016 to Nov. 14, said that some people acted as if she did not have any competitions. Truth is, her competitions — not just Holm but as well as the other girls — are so good that she is forced to be even better.

"The thing is, I'm so dominant in all of these fights because I am the most scared and fearful of all these girls," she revealed during an interview with Elle.

She said that a lot of people who became champs become complacent. In her case, she trains so hard because she would like to stay ahead with her fight.

Another thing that contributed to her dominant way of fighting was the manner of her thinking. The 28-year-old athlete revealed that she was seeing herself as the antagonist in her fights.

Comparing the villain and protagonist, Rousey said that the protagonist simply reacted to what the baddie will do. Basically, she perceives that the whole story line is dependent on the antagonist.

Rousey may imagine herself as the villain, but the world sees her differently — a hero and a role model, according to Fox Sports.

Some people love her, some people hate her, but the thing is — and it's undeniable — she is becoming popular. From UFC, to doing a fight scene with Michelle Rodriguez in "Furious 7," and now latest talk is about the video that UFC president Dana White uploaded.

Apparently, before Beyonce sang "Diva" in her Made in America Festival performance, she played Rousey's "DNB" speech.

"To be honest, it's an honor to have a real powerhouse of a woman like Beyoncé just recognize my existence," she said in response when she found out about it, ET exclusively learned. "Such a huge compliment, I couldn't be more grateful."

Rousey, in return, uploaded a snap of the track "Diva" on Instagram, Monday, and captioned it, "trafficjamin."
