Ellen DeGeneres, Caitlyn Jenner Fighting Over Gay Marriage? Talk Show Host Says, ‘I Don’t Really Know Her’

No! "Finding Dory" star Ellen DeGeneres and Caitlyn Jenner are not fighting, but they do have opposing views on gay marriage, which led the talk show host to open up about having the "conservative" transgender on her show.

On Tuesday, Ellen appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" and one of the things Portia de Rossi's wife discussed was the "I Am Cait" star's guesting on her morning talk show, reported Ace Showbiz.

DeGeneres pointed out how Caitlyn still has this conflicting view on gay marriage. She told Stern that Caitlyn "still has a judgment about gay marriage."

Dory's voice actress then singled out that Jenner should, by now, have this deep understanding of homosexuals and gay marriage. She said, "'You're wanting people to understand and accept you' — this is like really confusing to people and you still have a judgment about gay people and marriage," as quoted by Business Standard.

Ellen's statement was in response to what Caitlyn told her on the former's show: "I thought, I'm a traditionalist. I'm older than a lot of people in the audience. I kind of like tradition, and it's always been between a man and a woman... but... I don't ever want to stand in front of anybody's happiness."

DeGeneres, who has been married to de Rossi since 2008, also joked to Stern that she may have an idea on why Caitlyn still has this conservative view on the union between people with similar sexes. She said, "She's Republican and conservative... And I think, you know, a lot of Republicans are wishing she wasn't a Republican."

"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" host also joked about Caitlyn's lack of desire to dance with her on the show. "I don't think she's a dancer... Maybe she didn't wanna dance with me because I'm a lesbi," she jested.

Nevertheless, DeGeneres admitted that she had a great time during the interview and that she was thankful to Kendall and Kylie Jenner's father for appearing on her show.

"I'm grateful that she was on the show. And I don't really know her and I'm trying to understand it because I don't fully understand it either — but I also want everyone to be happy. So I don't fully understand all of that, but I want her to be happy — which is what I want for her [to want] for me," Ellen said, according to Huffington Post.

Caitlyn Jenner has yet to respond to DeGeneres' statements.
