'Captain America: Civil War' Main Villain’s Identity Unveiled; Elizabeth Olsen Talks About Scarlet Witch — Has She Finally Taken A Side?

"Captain America: Civil War" main villain has been revealed. Rumor has it that Frank Grillo's Crossbones was on the top list, but Elizabeth Olsen confirmed that it will be Daniel Bruhl.

Olsen spoke with Premiere, saying she was only in the "Captain America: Civil War" set for five weeks. She wasn't there for the majority of the filming, but the Olsen twins' sister has nothing but high praises for Bruhl.

"Bruhl is an incredible actor and he's playing the main villain in it," she said. "And he's incredible!"

It is believed that Bruhl will be playing Baron Zemo in the new movie. Zemo is Captain America's long-time nemesis, and in the comics, the original Baron Heinrich Zemo was a Nazi scientist during the Second World War, according to Comicbook.com.

It is presumed that Bruhl's character will be the son of the scientist, Baron Helmut Zero, who will be continuing the legacy of his father.

This "Captain America: Civil War" character, however, has yet to be officially identified by Marvel, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

It has been reported earlier that the heroes have taken a side. The release of "Captain America: Civil War" promotional posters suggest that War Machine, Black Panther, The Vision and Black Widow have taken Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man's team, while Winter Soldier, Falcon, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Sharon Carter have sided with Captain America, played by Chris Evans.

Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner's appearance in the movie has been reportedly cancelled. There are two characters left whose sides are not yet confirmed — Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Olsen's Scarlet Witch.

Unfortunately, fans may have to wait a little bit longer because until now, it still remains a mystery. However, Olsen teased something about her character during the interview.

"Someone who's more powerful than she's able to control and she ends up going insane because of it, and she's like a wild card," she said describing Scarlet Witch.

"You'd never know she's a hero or a villain," she added.

"Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in the United States on May 6, 2016, Comingsoon.net reported.
