Apple Unveils iPad Pro Dubbed As 'Most Advanced And Powerful' Tablet

Apple has finally unveiled their newest products that will either be a hit or miss to consumers. Two new iPhones, some updated Apple Watch styles, a newer and better version of Apple TV were launched.

The biggest Apple product unveiled however, was the iPad Pro which boasts a 12.9-inch display, eclipsing its predecessors iPad Air and iPad Mini.

The latest version of the iPad wowed the San Francisco crowd that gathered to witness Apple’s Sept. 9 event. The “biggest news in iPad since the iPad,” was how Apple’s top honcho Tim Cook described the latest tablet.

According to Daily Star, the iPad Pro has the top-notch pixel count, more than 5.6 million in its Retina display, the highest even in an iOS device, surpassing that of Apple’s MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

Despite the expansion of its size, the latest iPad Pro is light and thin and prides a battery life that will last up to ten hours. The U.S. based technology firm also added four speakers covered inside with a carbon fiber which resonates a better sound experience relative to its giant screen.

Another feature about the iPad Pro is the approach users connect with the device. The iPad Pro can now be converted into a laptop-like device with the Smart Keyboard, which makes use of a Smart Connector port that can be attached directly without the need for Bluetooth pairing, separate battery or an on and off switch.

The Smart Keyboard features keys that contribute to the accuracy, satisfying key feel of standard keyboards and stability. Because it is enclosed in custom woven cloth material, it is also conveniently foldable and can be converted into a Smart Cover.

If a user wants to write and draw on the tablet, a new Apple Pencil stylus can do the job.

Phil Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing said, “iPad Pro is the most advanced and powerful iPad we have ever made. The iPad Pro is far and away the fastest iOS device we have ever made — its A9X chip beats most portable PCs in both CPU and graphics tasks, but is thin and light enough to hold all day."

For those who want to get their hands on the latest iPad Pro, check it out on stores starting November. Pricing begins at $799 for 32GB and $1079 for 128GB.

As for the latest updates on the company's iPhones, USA Today reported the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus included new features such as a new 12-megapixel iSight camera, 3D Touch and a second generation Touch ID sensor and also a 4k video quality.

Meanwhile, the recent launch of the new Apple products may give those who were waiting for some pretty good deals with previous versions of the iPad and iPhone the chance to own Apple's previously released devices. Take the case of the iPad mini 2 which has gone down to a reasonable value of $269 because of the release of the iPad Mini 4 valued at $399 which has the power of the iPad Air 2 packed into a 7.9-inch body, as per NBC News.
