‘South Park’ Season 19: 5 Hot CONTROVERSIES Comedy Central’s Hit Cartoon Series Should Parody This Fall

"South Park" Season 19 is premiering this week, but ahead of its pilot episode's airing, fans couldn't help but wonder which controversial events the show will be parodying this fall season. Here are seven scandalous happenings that the show should consider.

1. Caitlyn Jenner's transformation

This is not something that makers Trey Parker and Matt Stone are considering since it has already been confirmed that this is happening in the premiere episode of "South Park" Season 19.

The press release for the pilot episode, entitled "Stunning and Brave" was released yesterday, and show fans can already expect the boys to give their two cents on the former Kardashian patriarch. The press release teased: "The boys express their utmost respect for Caitlyn Jenner" this Wednesday, Deadline has learned.

2. Donald Trump's racism

If the synopsis of the premiere episode is the best hint on who and what will the show be skewering when it returns on Comedy Central, then it's very obvious that Donald Trump will be mentioned or featured in the cartoon series.

"There is a new principal at the helm of South park Elementary. He forces the boys to confront the damage they've done through their history of racism and unconscious bias. It is the most stunning and brave South Park ever," read the synopsis, according to TV Line.

It can be noted that back in June, Donald Trump was under fire for his racist comments while announcing his run for presidency saying: "The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. ... When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people," as quoted by the Slate.

It would be great to see how "South Park" Season 19 would tackle this controversy, most especially since Trump has reiterated his stance a couple of times and was even fired from "The Celebrity Apprentice" because of it.

3. Deflategate/Tom Brady or Roger Goodell

While the issue has already been solved with the NFL emerging victorious, TV Line noted that no "(former) alleged NFL cheater is off-limits" in this season of "South Park." The show could either parody NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as he remains to be in position despite the overturning of Tom Brady's suspension. Then, there's Goodell's statement taht he is willing to change his role in how the league disciplines NFL players, as per CNN. It would be interesting to see how Parker and Stone would incorporate this controversy into their Comedy Central show.

4. Nicki Minaj & Miley Cyrus' MTV VMAs' live exchange

The 2015 MTV VMAs managed to score another spot in the history of live awards ceremonies after Nicki Minaj blasted host Miley Cyrus live after receiving her award. The entire Web was hooked right away after the incident so much so that Minaj's "Miley, what's good?" statement gave birth to a variety of commemorative merchandise as per Metro, numerous memes and even an earworm after producer Gerad A. shared a remix of the shady rhetoric on Soundcloud, as reported by Mashable.

Can fans expect to see the boys listening to the party remix? There are no clues yet that could confirm this, but staging an award show that would get a lot of attention for a nasty exchange between two artists could be "what's good" for the show.

5. Kanye West's run for presidency

Aside from the Nicki Minaj-Miley Cyrus feud, the VMAs also made a lot of noise when Kim Kardashian's husband grabbed the spotlight and the opportunity to announce his desire of running the country. Yeezy, who is now friend with Taylor Swift according to MTV, has declared that he is running for presidency in the year 2020. Though naysayers continue to claim that this is a sick joke. West has been receiving a lot of support from his celebrity friends.

Design&Trend is seeing a possible early election that could feature an "outrageously pompous political campaign."

"South Park" Season 19 is set to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
