'Gotham' Season 2 New [SPOILERS}: 'Rise Of The Villains' Set To Premiere With Deaths Of 2 Important Characters?

"Gotham" appears to be building up the hype among its fans with all the spoilers and teasers released. But what would the anxiously awaiting fans feel if they found out that season 2 will premiere with the death of not just one, but two significant characters?

Yes, a major "Gotham" spoiler surfaced recently via TV Guide that there are two characters that will be getting an early off from season 2, Comicbook.com learned. Unfortunately, they were not named.

"One of the deaths is so sudden and unexpected, it caught us completely off-guard," written on Mega Buzz. "The other, meanwhile, rocks an already reeling James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) to the core and will serve as a motivating force for him all season long."

Considering how these deaths will affect Gordon, a couple of theories emerged suggesting it could be Donald Logue's Harvey Bullock or Erin Richard's Barbara Kean.

As for the "Gotham" itself, McKenzie revealed that season two would be more serialized in a way that fans will get deeply know each villain, and understand the perplexity of their relationship with the other characters in the series, according to the International Business Times.

Since "Gotham's" characters are the origins of the future villains Batman will encounter, Camren Bicondova, who plays the role of Selina Kyle a.k.a Catwoman, said that they'd get to have the flexibility when it comes to the storyline.

That said, fans will get a deeper look at Cameron Monaghan's character, Jerome Valeska, who's being speculated to be the Joker. What happened to Selina Kyle and how did that contribute to her becoming one of the famous Batman villains will also be reportedly revealed.

With Oswald Cobblepot, Robin Lord Taylor, rising into power and Theo Galavan's, played by James Frain, arrival, a darker season definitely awaits.

Don't miss the season 2 premiere of "Gotham" on Sept. 21 on Fox, and watch how the "Rise of the Villains" will indeed bring more chaos to the city.
