Recently, Jamie Dornan was reportedly demanding a much larger 7-figure salary payout for his role as Christian Grey in the upcoming erotic "Fifty Shades" sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker." His demands allegedly resulted in the apparent delay of the production of the movie, as previously reported. Now, he placed his Grade II listed Cotswolds, South England cottage up for sale for $775,450 (£500,000).
Jamie Dornan's cozy cottage, which he shared with his wife Amelia Warner and their one-year-old daughter Dulcie, is described by Daily Mail as the "perfect family pad" because of its homely décor and picturesque views of the English countryside. It is also just a few miles away from Prince Charles' Highgrove mansion.
The historic semi-detached cottage, which was used by the Dornans as their holiday home, dates back in the 1850s and was constructed of natural Cotswold stone with a traditional stone-tiled roof, Daily Mirror revealed. It also boasts authentic period features including wooden beams, low ceilings and open fireplaces. Jamie Dornan's cottage is also equipped with a state-of-the-art modern kitchen, a rustic lounge and a dining room.
Meanwhile, Jamie Dornan has also been rumored to be on the brink of a divorce with wife Amelia, who was also rumored to be pregnant with their second child. The pregnancy has not been confirmed yet while the divorce speculations are just merely rumors since Dornan has previously praised his wife for her support while he was filming "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"My wife is a brilliant, hugely understanding person," Dornan said, as per The Hamilton Spectator. "A lot of people would have had a s—t fit at 30-something weeks pregnant, hearing, 'Darling, we're going to Vancouver this week for four months — we're going to have a Canadian baby and I'm going to do a film where, for parts of it, I will be naked. That's a tough pitch, but my wife is an incredible person.'"
Jamie Dornan also confessed that Amelia Warner was his "dream" woman as well as gushing about enjoying fatherhood.
"She's dream stuff," Dornan continued before adding, "It's amazing ... I love fatherhood. These last couple of years have been quite something. But we're enjoying it."
