'Captain America: Civil War’s' The Vision Goes To Asia; Exclusive Trailer To Premiere At AsiaPop Comicon

"Captain America: Civil War" cast Paul Bettany, who plays The Vision, will be visiting the Philippines on Sept. 19 for the AsiaPop Comicon event. International Business Times has learned that Marvel will be screening a trailer with scenes that were never seen before in the Asia-Pacific region.

The convention will happen at the World Trade Center in Pasay, Manila at 1 p.m. Universe Events and Entertainment will be organizing the event and Rita Magnus, its general manager, was the one who confirmed the news, according to CNN Philippines.

"What we're doing is an exclusive screening of never-seen scenes from Captain America: Civil War and we'll have Paul Bettany with a panel after that... so it kind of encompasses the new Marvel movie," Magnus said.

She also confirmed that the trailer that will premiere in the Philippines will definitely be the first in the Asia-Pacific.

Magnus revealed that prior to making this decision, she had been researching, so she knew how passionate and crazy Filipino fans are over the franchise.

"We wanted to bring somebody from the cast of Avengers, someone big in the Marvel's Civil War movie... and The Vision (played by Bettany) is a really big character," Magnus said.

The AsiaPop Comicon 2015 will run from Sept. 17–20, Cosmic Book News reported.

"Captain America: Civil War" will pick up following the events from Sokovia City in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron"; hence, the government's plan to impose a superhero registration act.

This move will reportedly divide the Avengers team — the "anti," which will be led by Chris Evans' Captain America, and the "pro," headed by Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.

Snaps of the team were revealed showing Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Sharon Carter, The Winter Soldier and Falcon with his flying robot siding with Captain America. Meanwhile, Iron Man will have Black Widow, The Vision, Black Panther and War Machine as his allies.

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
