‘Finding Dory’: Diane Keaton, Idris Elba & Other Actors Joining Ellen DeGeneres’ Sequel To ‘Finding Nemo!' [PHOTOS]

The "Finding Nemo" sequel, "Finding Dory," is all set to conquer the box office come June 17, 2016. Ahead of its release date, however, the hype over the Ellen DeGeneres starrer continues to grow. While the story for the new movie centers on Ellen's blue Tang character, Dory, viewers will also get to see returning aquatic creatures and new ones. So who are joining the sequel's cast?

1. Diane Keaton

The 69-year-old actress who started her acting career in 1972's "The Godfather" is joining Pixar's highly anticipated animation sequel. She is set to voice Dory's mom Jenny.

2. Eugene Levy

The Canadian actor who has the "American Pie" movies with his presence is taking his humor undersea as Charlie, Dory's father.

3. Ty Burrell

Completing Dory's family in the "Finding Nemo" sequel is "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell who plays Phil Dunphy in the hit ABC comedy. What's really interesting about Burrell's role as Bailey the beluga whale who happens to be Dory's adoptive sibling, MoviePilot has learned. Could he be the reason why the titular Tang knows how to speak whale?

4. Ed O'Neill

Another "Modern Family" star is joining the cast of voice actors in "Finding Dory." O'Neill, who plays Jay Pritchett in the ABC series, is voicing newcomer Hank the Octopus, who may be Dory's friend in the upcoming Pixar animated flick.

5. Kaitlin Olson

The "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actress is also part of the 2016 movie. During the D23 Expo Panel Presentation for "Finding Dory," it was revealed that Olson is playing Destiny, who is described as a "very sweet somewhat confused whale shark who thinks she's a whale but she's a shark."

6. Albert Brooks

Of course, since the movie is a sequel, it's not surprising to know that Albert Brooks is returning to voice Nemo's overprotective father Marlin.

7. Hayden Rolence

Since original Nemo voice actor Alexander Gould is now 21, the makers of "Finding Dory" decided to tap on fresh talent to give voice to the stubborn clownfish. Fox32Chicago has learned that 11-year-old Rolence, who is attending Still Middle School in Aurora, is now the one tasked to voice Nemo in the sequel.

8. Dominic West

Other actors who are said to be part of the film's cast are Dominic West and Idris Elba according to ScreenRant, but it's still not clear what characters they are voicing in the upcoming movie. 

9. Idris Elba

Catch all of these stars as they give voice to the undersea creatures in "Finding Dory" when the film premieres on June 17, 2016 in theaters nationwide.
