Before “Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD” Season 3 premieres tonight, get to know the actor playing badass agent Grant Ward, Brett Dalton. Below are three things you should know of the 32-year-old actor who is now playing the “big bad” in the series.
1. He is excited with the transition of his "MAOS" character
For the past two seasons of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," fans saw Brett Dalton's Agent Ward as the mysterious muscle of the group. However, in the finale of the previous season, Ward's true nature was revealed and, as unbelievable as it seems, he is now the big bad of the ABC show. Nonetheless, Dalton admitted that he finds the dynamics of his character exciting.
In an interview with Zap2It, Dalton said, "I think it's exciting to take a character who in Season 1 was the muscle of the group and, in some ways, the one we knew the least about, and who seemed like he just had a bad attitude but was really a hard-working good guy underneath it all. To take that person, who was part of the original six, and to make him now the head of the evil organization that's now working against SHIELD, I think is pretty amazing."
2. He is very friendly especially on Twitter
While Dalton plays a mysterious and oftentimes serious character in "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," he is actually very friendly, bubbly and candid when it comes to his posts on Twitter. When fans mention him on the social networking site, he makes it a habit to respond to their questions and messages. Plus, the actor, who also appeared in "Army Wives" and "Nurses," is also very playful when it comes to his co-actors.

3. He already has a fiancée
Sorry ladies! The hunky "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" actor is already off the market. His soon-to-be wife and mother of his daughter, Sylvia, is Melissa Trn, who appeared as a dancer in "I'm Sorry, Mr Reeves." Though she is not into acting, she has worked as costume designer for a couple of short films.
ONTD has learned that Brett Dalton and Melissa Trn have been together for six years now and the lovers met way back while they were still attending the Yale School of Drama.
