‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Still NOT Premiering This Week; Darkness To Take Toll On Winchester Brothers?

“Supernatural” Season 11 is going to be very exciting and, at the same time, challenging for our beloved Winchester brothers Sam and Dean. Unfortunately, fans of the long-running CW series will have to wait a little longer since the show is still not premiering this week.

"Supernatural" is set to premiere a week from now, specifically on Oct. 7, with its pilot episode entitled "Out of the Darkness Into the Fire." Right away, fans will get to see the repercussions of the really scary and dark finale of the previous season.

The Winchesters are still in the dark on what's going on, but it's clear that whatever it is, it is destroying lives. CarterMatt has learned via a sneak peek that Sam and Dean will get perplexed when they see bodies of humans lining up the street. Adding to their confusion is the police officer who is to approach them and check their necks for a possible sign of the unknown plague.

Could The Darkness be the reason behind the massive deaths? There is a big chance that the cloud of darkness could be the main culprit that will lead humans to become "murderous machines."

The fact that the officer searched for signs on their necks could mean that there is a widespread infection that is going on. Also, could the female officer be their new ally? TVOverMind said there is a fat chance that she could be, especially after the funny exchange that will take place between the brothers and her. Plus, Dean will once again drop his idiosyncratic one-liner.

In the promotional stills for "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 1 leaked via PopSugar, there is one photo showing Sam and Dean escorting the female officer to a healthcare facility. The officer is noticeably riding a wheelchair, so perhaps the three could have gotten into an encounter with infected people.

Don't miss your favorite show when it finally premieres this fall. Tune in on the CW next Wednesday night for the return of "Supernatural," which is now on its eleventh run. Check out the promotional clip for the pilot episode below.
