Daniel Craig Slammed! 'Grey's Anatomy' Star Ellen Pompeo Says 'James Bond' Actor 'Needs A Reality Check'

Daniel Craig recently said comments in an interview that made "Grey's Anatomy" star, Ellen Pompeo, say that the actor is in need of a reality check.

As reported by E! Online, Craig was asked in an interview whether he was interested in doing another "James Bond" movie.

The "Spectre" actor just said he would "rather break this glass and slash my wrists," than to reprise his role as the 007 Agent. The comments made by the actor did not sit well with Pompeo that prompted her to tweet, "This dude needs a reality check."

Unfortunately, not everyone agreed with her comments and one fan pointed out that there was a good chance that the "James Bond" actor's quotes were taken out of context.

Pompeo immediately backtracked her statement and conceded by saying, "You are absolutely right!" and added, "I certainly have been there."

Another fan pointed out that some media outlets tend "to blow up everything and twist it to get a good headline," which the actress replied by saying "Yes they do #smartgirl!"

According to the Daily Mail, the actress did not even apologize for the tweet and just put the blame on "the media."

For context, the British actor spoke at length on how much of "a drag" it is staying in good shape for the movie. He added that the studio were "out of their f—king minds" to consider filming back-to-back Bond movies.

And in a report by TV3, Craig clarified by saying, ''that's fine. I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on.''

He also said in the interview that if ever he would do another "James Bond" movie, it will only be for the money. Although Craig said that he's ready to quit the successful spy film franchise, he claimed that he would do another film due to a signed contract that requires him to make another.

Craig said, 'It's getting harder. But such is life. I'll keep going as long as I'm physically able. I'm contracted for one more — but I'm not going to make predictions.''
