Raven-Symoné FIRED From ‘The View’ Over Racist Comment? [RUMOR]

Raven-Symone is definitely walking on thin ice after making a very racist comment on ABC’s daytime talk show “The View,” but could this be enough reason for her to get axed from the show?

The 29-year-old "That's So Raven" lead star quickly got massive backlash after appearing on the Thursday episode of "The View." In the episode, the co-hosts were discussing about a study on racial assumptions based on the name of a person, and Raven-Symoné just had to speak up her mind about her take on the issue.

However, the actress-comedienne may have gone to far and dropped the bombshell when she revealed that she will not hire someone with a "ghetto name," People reported.

"Just to bring it back, can we take back 'racist' and say 'discriminatory,' because I think that's a better word. And I'm very discriminatory against words like the ones they were saying in those names," she began her comment.

Raven-Symoné then went on to say, "I'm not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It's just not going to happen. I'm not going to hire you."

Quickly, Raven-Symoné was slammed by many on social media and even by columnists, with CNN learning that most of the backlash the co-host received related to her hypocrisy for being a "black woman with an accented, hyphenated name."

TMZ has also learned that because of Raven-Symoné's racist comment, many people are calling for the daytime talk show to ask her off immediately. Some loyal viewers of the show reportedly voiced out that "The Cheetah Girls" star should be quickly replaced by Rachel Dolezal.

Raven-Symoné has yet to comment on the backlash she is getting. However, it appears that she may be too late for a public apology. MediaTakeOut reported while citing sources that the actress has already been fired from "The View."

The site even claimed that the daytime talk show's producers called Raven-Symoné just after taping the Friday episode that she has been canned from appearing on "The View."

The site also went as far as claiming that though it's not certain whether or not Raven-Symoné is going to appear on Monday's episode, the decision of the producers is final and that her days at the famous daytime talk show are over.
