Bristol Palin Ditches Baby’s Father? Sarah Palin’s Pregnant Daughter Reveals Baby’s Gender While Slams Government For Middle-Schoolers' Birth Control Without Parental Consent

Bristol Palin's baby father is still out of the picture even though she has revealed the gender of the baby. The 24-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin took to Instagram to announce that she's expecting a baby girl. But that's not only what Bristol did online. As a matter of fact, she wrote a blog about parental consent for birth control over the weekend.

While Bristol Palin, who is also a proud mom of 6-year-old son Tripp, is eager to meet her daughter, the baby's father is not mentioned and has been remarkably absent during the pregnancy. But that did not discourage her to be a single mom again.

"7.5 months with my baby girl," she proudly wrote on Instagram, as per E! News.

Initially, Bristol Palin initially referred to her pregnancy as a "huge disappointment" to her family and friends, Daily Mail noted. But now, she had been documenting the progress of her pregnancy on social media and has been more excited about her growing family.

"I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you," she wrote. "But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."

Despite what others believed, Bristol Palin also clarified that the pregnancy was indeed planned with her ex-fiancé and baby daddy Dakota Meyer, before they called off their engagement.

"None of us are perfect," her blog read. "I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!"

Meanwhile, aside from announcing the gender of her baby, Bristol Palin also wrote on her blog about her disdain as the government urges middle schoolers to practice birth control without parental consent. According to The Blaze, she also penned a message aimed at critics who said she didn't have a right to talk about birth control after becoming pregnant twice out of wedlock.

"I know I'm the last to talk about birth control. (Two baby daddies right? LOLZ!)," she wrote. "But I am expecting a girl and do have a 14 year old sister and I would be so concerned for her going into a clinic and having something pretty serious put into her body."

"I'm not against birth control by ANY MEANS so do not twist my words," she added. "But I am against the government going between a parent and a child at such a young age... WE as parents know what's best for our young daughters — NOT the government."
