‘Criminal Minds’ Season 11: Who Is Guest Starring In Episode 3? Plus Shemar Moore Reveals His ‘Supergirl’

"Criminal Minds" has a new cast member? Apparently not, but for fans of the long-running CBS series and for fans of American football, Wednesday night's episode 3 would be more than enough to enjoy a notable cameo from a Dallas Cowboys player.

Former NFL player Michael Irvin, 49, is set to guest star on "Criminal Minds" Season 11 episode 3 entitled "'Til Death Do Us Part," and the show was proud to announce the first look at the NFL legend's role via Facebook.

It isn't clear what kind of cameo Irvin is going to offer loyal viewers, but many are hoping that he won't play the bad guy in the episode, which may be a little too bloody for soon-to-be brides.

Irvin is a proud fan of the series, and he even admitted that he basically sleeps with Shemar Moore's Derek Morgan every night because he's always watching the re-runs of the series, as per The Dallas Morning News.

Speaking of Moore, the hunky actor dropped a sweet message to his "Supergirl" yesterday via the show's official Facebook page. In a short clip, Shemar answers the question on who his real-life Supergirl is by saying: "That's my momma. That's my sweetheart. That's my partner in crime. That's my mentor, my hero."

He then continues: "Without her I don't have the life that I have. I don't have any career that I have." He wraps up the clip by urging his fans that they should also show their love to their own Supergirl everyday.

Meanwhile, Moore's character is bound to be very busy in the episode since Montolo is out to target the Dirty Dozen. Exec Erica Messer told TV Guide that the Dirty Dozen will be mentioned in the episode, but episode 3 is not going to focus on the group of men.

Messer also admitted that the Dirty Dozen arc is set to end soon and before the season finale. "We're gonna wrap it up before the end of the season, so it won't be the way we've done the arcs for The Replicator or even last year with Kate," the show executive producer noted.

Tonight's show is going to be very special since actor Joe Mantegna was the one who sat on the director's chair to film the episode.

Since "Criminal Minds" premiered in 2007, Mantegna has only directed two episodes, so this third time is going be very interesting.

"It's just one of those things that, if you have a feeling about it and you think that maybe you can do it, there's probably a good chance that maybe you can," the 67-year-old actor said of his directing experience to CBS News.

"If you at least have had some experience and you do the homework and take it seriously — you can give it a shot," he added.

The official synopsis of CBS' crime drama's all-new episode reads: "Brides-to-be are murdered on the eve of their nuptials in Savannah and a jilted lover is suspected."
