Uh-oh! Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian are reportedly at war. Recent reports claim that the Duchess of Cambridge and America's television royalty Kim are feuding after the latter became obsessed with making friends with the Brit royal.
While Kim Kardashian thinks that she can be friends with 33-year-old Kate Middleton, the palace allegedly finds the offer "offensive and ridiculous." According to Jezebel, the 34-year-old soon-to-be mom-of-two has been reportedly trying to set up a public "playdate" for North and Prince George. However, the royal family declines. And when Kim didn't get a reply, she threw a huge tantrum, saying her daughter North is more adorable than Prince William's son.
"Kim is obsessed with Kate — she keeps up with her every move," a source told Star Magazine, as per Inquisitr. "She wants nothing more than to be part of Kate's circle."
"Ever since Kate's son, Prince George, was born, Kim has been badgering the duchess' people about setting up a public play date between him and [her daughter] North, but Kensington Palace keeps telling her in no uncertain terms that it won't be happening," another insider added.
The war between two of the world's most popular personalities, Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian, further intensified with claims that the royal couple returned the Wests' customed baby gift to Princess Charlotte. Allegedly, the palace sent back their gift with a note asking Kim and Kanye to stop contacting the royals.
Even though the reports about Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian's "nasty feud" appears suspicious, Star magazine firmly claimed that Kim was annoyed and frustrated over the royals' cold-shoulder treatment. The Wests were even hurt and felt completely humiliated for the royals to ditch their friendship offer.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop slammed the Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian's feuding reports, saying the story was utterly fabricated. As per the celeb gossip site, a rep for Kardashian said the claims were untrue while a palace insider laughed off the report.
