"America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22's all-new episode is going to be very exciting since the competition will be narrowed down to the top five model hopefuls in Tyra Banks' reality modelling series. Many are hoping for Devin or Hadassah to finally get eliminated from the show. Could one of them be going home in episode 11? Or, will the judges send one of the other remaining models packing?
Unfortunately, viewers will have to endure and wait a little longer since the show is not airing its brand new episode this Friday night. "ANTM" is not returning with Cycle 22 Episode 11 this week.
Following Banks' heartbreaking announcement that the long-running reality competition is ending once this cycle wraps up, the show will take a quick brake from airing new episodes on The CW.
Instead of an all-new "ANTM" this Oct. 16, The CW is airing episode 2 of its period drama "Reign" at 8 p.m. EDT, and it will be followed by a rewind of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's" premiere episode entitled "Josh Just Happens To Live."
"ANTM" Cycle 22 Episode 11 is slated to be aired on its usual Friday time slot next week on Oct. 23, according to EPGuides.com.
The news that Tyra Banks' The CW series will not air a new episode comes amid the fashion model producer's announcement that the show will wrap up its run on national television after 12 years.
Banks took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that her show is ending after this cycle. In her special message to the show's avid supporters, she noted: "I set out to create a show where Perfect is Boring. So I hope you continue to love your freckles, your moles, your big forehead, your big eyes, your small eyes, your pointy chin, your tiny boobs, your full chest, your ivory or ebony skin (or every color in between) - the stuff about you that makes you well...you. And I hope you've learned a heck of a lot from watching. I have an inkling you have."
The finale of this cycle is set to air on Dec. 4, the same day Tyra turns 42. Additionally, Variety reported that The CW is currently in talks to create a "retrospective special" for the modelling show, which launched careers of its many contestants, set to air sometime next year.
