Jim Bob, Michelle Duggar's 30-Year Marriage On The Rocks? ’19 Kids And Counting’ Couple Enters Rehab Following Josh Duggar Scandals

Is Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s marriage on the rocks? How come the “19 Kids and Counting” couple is seeking for marital treatment following their son Josh Duggar’s highly publicized scandals and the other controversies their children were faced with recently?

So apparently, the parents of the controversial Duggar kids have formally announced on their official Duggar Family Facebook page that they are on a "marriage retreat." The couple noted that they are enjoying their special time in Saint Paul Arkansas on the Ozark National Forest.

The devout Christian couple even singled out in their update to their fans that they are there to seek "beautiful truths," alongside a snap of them smiling as they stand side by side.

However, it appears that there is more than meets the eye for this bold gesture by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar since Radar Online has learned that the facility acts like a marriage rehab by providing activities with the ultimate goal of ensuring that couples go on "rekindling, reviving and renewing" their romance.

The retreat reportedly costs $275 per couple, and it provides "Biblical solutions" to serious family problems. And this is something that the Duggars currently need following the rough year that has befallen them.

Their eldest son, Josh Duggar, started to make headlines in May when his molestation scandal emerged. Following which, his infidelity to his wife Anna was put under the microscope when it was revealed that he had affairs with the help of Ashley Madison.

Other issues that plagued the Duggars include the other kids trying to get much attention to themselves following the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting." And then there's the controversy revolving Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's missionary work funding.

The previous week, Michelle Duggar took to her blog to give some advice to newlyweds who are still learning the ropes on how to maintain a healthy and long-lasting marriage. However, it appears that her blog posts sparked controversy for the reality star, as per NewsMax.

In her post, Michelle stressed the importance for wives to give their husbands what they want in the bedroom although the former maybe exhausted. She insisted that wives should provide intimacy because they are there to provide this to their men.

After her post got media attention many marriage and sex therapists weighed in on her opinion and denounced it for sending the wrong message to couples out there. One therapist named Jane Greer pointed out that "making yourself available when you are not interested could breed resentment in a relationship."

Meanwhile, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar may have another shot at reviving their lost careers as reality stars after it was revealed that they will be appearing on their daughters Jill and Jessa's spinoff series.

According to StarPulse, Jim Bob is seeing this as a ray of hope for them to revive their popular TLC series "19 Kids and Counting," but that is if the advertisers that fled the show in the wake of Josh Duggar's scandals are willing to provide support to their currently defunct family series once again.
