Kris Jenner, being the mother of Khloe Kardashian, couldn’t help but show some concern for her daughter in the wake of Lamar Odom’s recovery. Was momager really concerned, or was she afraid her daughter was spending too much for her estranged husband?
Radar Online has learned that Kris actually questioned Khloe when the latter paid for Odom's helicopter transport which was said to be not covered by medial insurance.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" matriarch asked her daughter if the $120,000 fee for the said transport could directly be billed to the still recovering Odom.
Fortunately, Lamar's wife stood up for him and dodged Kris Jenner's question by ensuring the latter that it was already paid for and that's that.
The site's insider was quoted as saying, "The cost was $120,000 which wasn't covered by medical insurance. But Khloe had no issue paying, even though her mom questioned if Lamar could be billed directly. Khloe appreciated her mom's concern, but told her it was already paid for, and ended the conversation."
The bill was for Odom's transport from Las Vegas to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, and it was for an hour and a half trip.
Despite this, it's good that Kris was there to help Khloe in arranging for the medically equipped helicopter for the former basketball player days prior the doctor gave them the green light to transfer Odom.
Amid this ordeal, Khloe Kardashian is putting everything else in her life on hold, according to a source. And it seems she's really in for this for the long haul and does not mind that her husband was found unconscious in a brothel last Tuesday. She's now more focused on her husband's full recovery.
On Tuesday, Khloe took the time to thank everyone who has been very supportive to her and the people who wished Lamar well, ABC 7 reported.
In a personal note she posted on her website, she wrote: "This past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar."
She then resumed: "I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made."
Khloe finished her note saying, "You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued supper. God is great!"
Her post came amid the released statement from the former NBA star's aunt's publicist saying that Odom finally took his first steps after successfully arriving at the Los Angeles hospital.
"He continues to make miraculous progress, taking a few steps in Los Angeles," publicist Alvina Alston was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.
Though Lamar is making progress, new reports have surfaced claiming that he may need to get a kidney transplant.
