In the wake of the Robyn-centric “Sister Wives” arc, speculations and rumors continue to run amuck claiming that Meri Brown may not be really happy with all this drama centered on Kody’s other wife. However, the first Mrs. Brown has opened up via social media about the real score of how she really feels at the moment.
Last night, after another episode of the controversial Lifetime series "Sister Wives" aired, Meri took to Twitter to share her thoughts and answer some questions from fans. Most of her posts indicate that she's actually happy with the turn of events following her divorce from her husband of 20 years.
"Can't help but smile as I watch Dayt sign those papers!" she wrote on Twitter.
A little later she wrote a message that may be directed at the people questioning her decision to divorce her polygamist husband.
"The adoption of the kids was the whole point of the legal divorce. I would do it again for my family," she tweeted.
An hour after, she responded to a question from her follower which read: "@MeriBrown1 I'm lost.. Did you all have to do a legal divorce?"
Her response read: "I chose to so we could adopt the kids."
Earlier, she tweeted a cryptic message, which as per ET Online may be her response to the catfishing scheme she recently became a victim of.
"Put on the full armor of God to that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes," her post, which was from the Bible verse Ephesians 6:11 read.
Last month, Meri Brown made headlines after it was revealed that she had an emotional online affair with Sam Cooper, who was actually con woman Jackie Overton.
Starcasm has learned that Overton was arrested last Wednesday, along with Della Overton, her mother. However, the Overton and her mom were not arrested because of the catfish incident. Instead, they were taken by authorities over outstanding traffic warrants.
On the other hand, while Meri has now come out to say that she's genuinely happy, it seems that fans are still not pleased because "Sister Wives" continue to focus on Robyn.
"Love hearing about Maddie. Every episode this season has focused on Robyn and the adoption or Robyn and the new pregnancy. Those are both big events but I'm hoping to see more about the other wives. Meri's health, Janelle's weight loss, and even how Christine is doing with her mom now living with her. At this point I'm desperate for all things separate from Robyn," show fan Jessica Purchase wrote on "Sister Wives" official Facebook page.
Another fan named Patricia M Mason Leduc commented: "Now that the adoption has gone through Kody should divorce Robyn if it was for adoption purposes and remarry Meri if she will even have him back. Robyn owes this to Meri and the family."
Meanwhile, Sara Klimas wrote: "I can't stand the show any more. I used to be able too but can't stand them any more. They knew what there were getting them selfs into. It all seem to be about Robyn and the baby."
