"Jane the Virgin" Season 2 is back with episode 3 entitled "Chapter Twenty-Five" this Monday night, and it seems that another shocker will come Jane's way. Fans will also be left with a possible answer to the question: Is Jane choosing Michael or Rafael?
In the previous week, the love triangle among Jane and Brett Dier's Michael Cordero and Justin Baldoni's Rafael Solano just got complicated by another notch. Apparently, Gina Rodriguez's Jane Villanueva admitted to her ex-fiance and the father of her child that she loves them both.
Fans may still be wondering who is going to end up with Jane, but the all-new episode this week may bring an unfortunate news to people wanting Jane and Rafael to be the endgame couple.
Apparently, LatinPost has learned that the love triangle side between Jane and Rafael will become even messier when the former learns that Rafael has sired a baby with Yael Grobglas' Petra. Petra used Rafael's sperm to artificially inseminate herself, and Jane will be in utter shock when she learns this.
Though the storyline of The CW's comedy-drama continues to pique the interest of its fans and loyal viewers, it seems that the show is currently struggling to keep its ratings up.
As per Zap2It's TV By The Numbers, though "Jane The Virgin" Season won a lot trophies from reputable award-giving bodies, these may not be enough to spare the show's ratings.
However, fans should not really fear anything for now since the show is still within sight of the numbers its freshman run accumulated.
"Jane The Virgin" Season 2 opened to a 0.4 rating among the 18-49 demo, which is just a little down compared to the ratings its season premiere last year and the season finale obtained.
Still, there is a constant struggle to increase the ratings that the show is bound to face this season. Should the ratings plummet, "Jane The Virgin" could be one of the casualties of the fall 2015 roster.
The official synopsis of "Jane The Virgin" Season 2 Episode 3 according to TVGuide reads: "Jane and Rafael try to plan Mateo's baptism. Meanwhile, Petra's news still has Rafael bewildered; Jane must make a tough decision about attending a graduate program; Xo helps Rogelio face his past; and Rogelio gives Michael advice about Jane."
