'iZombie' Season 2 Episode 5 Preview: Crazy Things Will Happen To Liv, Blaine, Ravi & Clive

"iZombie" season two, episode five, entitled "Love & Basketball," will air tonight, and things are going to get insane for Rose McIver's Liv Moore, David Anders' Blaine DeBeers, Rahul Kohli's Ravi Chakrabarti and Malcom Goodwin's Clive Babineaux.

What's going to happen to these "iZombie" season two cast of characters?

1. Liv becomes a basketball coach.

McIver showcased her singing talent in the previous episode of "iZombie" season two when she consumed the brain of a country singer to help in the case investigation. Truth be told, she nailed the character.

In tonight's episode, her zombie character will devour the brain of a dead basketball coach. The video below will show how Liv is giving the former coach's players a tough time.

Apparently, they aren't the only ones. It has been reported that Major Lilywhite, played by Robert Buckley, has recently gone on a downward spin, and the TVGuide spoiler stated that Liv, who was consumed by the overly fervent brain of the dead coach, will be giving him a pep talk.

2. Ravi's working with Blaine.

Promotional snaps were released by The CW, SpoilersGuide learned. Some of these snaps are showing Ravi and Blaine's unlikely partnership.

The doctor and Liv's nemesis in "iZombie" season one, will be forced to work together to recreate the cure, as per the spoiler reported by Comicbook.com.

Interestingly, a new pairing was introduced in the previous "iZombie" season two episode, according to Fashion & Style. It involves Blaine, and Ravi's love interest Peyton Charles, played by Ali Michalka.

Showrunner Rob Thomas teased that Ravi and Peyton will be going on separate ways in the new season, and now, there are speculations that there could be something brewing between her and Blaine.

If the rumored pairing becomes real in the future "iZombie" episodes, will it not complicate things? Is Blaine-Peyton even remotely possible?

3. Clive deals with the repercussions of his actions.

In the trailer video below, Clive was called to the Lieutenant's office because of what he did — which he should not have. He was pulled off from the Suzuki case and was reassigned to the security guard homicide, but he keeps on meddling with the case.

Whether he's going to be reprimanded by his direct superior remains to be seen, but what's reportedly certain is he will be getting a surprise visit from Helen, Suzuki's widow.

Don't forget to tune in to The CW tonight at 9 p.m. for "iZombie" season two's "Love & Basketball" episode.
