Lil Wayne's $150M Net Worth Disappearing Amid Ongoing Legal Battles?

Where is Lil Wayne’s net worth? Did he just lose his multi-million wealth? Why in the world did the cops seize the “No Ceilings 2” rapper’s expensive art pieces from his Miami Beach mansion? These are just some of the questions bothering Young Tuneche’s fans after reports surfaced revealing that authorities raided his place and retrieved some of his expensive possessions.

Apparently, Lil Wayne just got into some big time trouble this week. The Miami-Dad County Sheriff's deputies reportedly went to his Miami Beach crib and raided the property after they got hold of an order allowing them to get some of the rapper's pricey belongings just to satisfy the money he owns a private jet company, TMZ reported.

Lil Wayne has a net worth of $150 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, so it's quite shocking how Young Weezy did not pay the $2 million judgment amount he owes the company out of his pocket.

Instead, he let this scandalous and controversial incident happen and even allowed cops to get into his mansion and seize some of the expensive paintings from his art collection which is reportedly valued at $30 million in total.

Insiders said the authorities had someone who has knowledge on the value of the art pieces, so the deputies would know which ones they should take with them. The same insiders dished that the cops also seized some of Wayne's plaques, but it was not revealed whether they were artist's prized plaques for his albums.

The raid of his assets comes amid the civil case involving a jet leasing company and Dr. Carter. The company, Signature Group, reportedly sued Wayne over his missed payments for his Gulfstream II, which he was leasing for $55,000 a month, Daily Mail has learned.

When Birdman Jr. missed the payments the company sued him for the $2 million he failed to settle. Although a judge initially denied the order that would allow authorities to break into Lil Wayne's property with or without his permission, the order was signed last Friday after a real estate agent's affidavit confirmed that the Young Money Entertainment founder's mansion houses many assets.

According to RollingStone, there was also a helicopter footage that shows the cops hauling items from Young Tune's crib into a truck. Wayne and his representative have remained mum amid the raid.

Lil Wayne may have a lot of legal battles going on, but he still manages to keep himself busy in the music scene, having announced that his new mixtape "No Ceilings 2" is due this Thanksgiving.

Lil Wayne's $150 million net worth can be attributed to his success in the hip hop scene. The Richest even notes that the million-selling rapper indeed lives up to his self-proclaimed title of being the "best rapper alive."

Wayne began his career at the young age of 15 through a group called Hot Boys by Cash Money Records. His net worth skyrocketed when he released his solo album "The Block is Hot" which garnered double platinum and even peaked at no. 3 on the Billboard charts.
