Why ‘Modern Family’ Season 7 Episode 6 NOT AIRING This Wednesday Night On ABC; Hit Comedy Series’ ‘The More You Ignore Me’ Episode Resumes On Nov. 11

Each year, "Modern Family" celebrated Halloween but this season, the hit comedy series skipped its Trick or Treat-themed episode as the show is taking a two-week break. But the series will resume with its Season 7 Episode 6, entitled "The More You Ignore Me," on Nov. 11.

Even though "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 6 won't air until next week, the upcoming episode will focus on Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) as they deal with the problems of their children. According to Vine Report, the couple will be dealing with their children's troubles while Phil battles with his own insecurities.

"Claire and Phil have their hands full when Luke gets arrested for driving without a license, then they catch Alex sneaking out of a liquor store, but that's on top of Phil dealing with some personal insecurities," "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 6 synopsis read, as per Disney ABC Press.

"Elsewhere, Cam tries to convince Gloria to recreate and sell her family's hot sauce while Mitch helps Jay shoot a video to accompany his Titans of Industry award. And Haley and Dylan have an awkward encounter with Andy and Beth at the movies," the synopsis continued.

Also in "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 6, Jay (Ed O'Neill) will be receiving an award for his closet business. He will then ask his son Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) for help to shoot a video as part of the awarding. His wife Gloria (Sofia Vergara), on the other hand, is left confused on whether to continue with the business.

Meanwhile, there are also some awkward moments in "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 6 particularly for Haley (Sarah Hyland), Dylan (Reid Ewing), Andy (Adam Devine) and Beth (Laura Ashley Samuels) as they remember too well the incident they needed to confront with their emotions earlier in the series.

There are also speculations that the plot for "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 6 will also depict the possibility of a blossoming romance between Andy and Hayley, another Vine Report hinted. As reported by International Business Times, the couple's story has been side-lined as showrunners concentrated more on other cast members. In fact, they were last seen in the first episode where they were screaming at each other and parting ways despite their feelings toward each other.

While "Modern Family" cast and crew have neither confirmed nor denied the speculations about Andy and Haley's relationship, a recent interview with showrunner Christopher Lloyd seemed to be hinting that the rumors might be true.

"Haley's sort of been going for more superficial guys, and I think Andy's been going for sort of more law-and-order, kind of mother types, and these are not their typical types, which makes it fun to contemplate what it would be like for them to be together," Lloyd told Yahoo! TV in late September. "But when you're changing your pattern in life, you approach it tentatively and carefully, so that's why they've sort of been taking it in small steps up until this point, and sort of each is a little bit afraid of making too much of a move. And that kind of continues through the coming season."

Meanwhile, "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 6 will premiere on Nov. 11 at 9 p.m. on ABC. For free online stream link, click here.
