TMZ reported Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani carefully orchestrated the big revelation of the status of their relationship in his ex-wife's town, Nashville. And as expected the news hogged the headlines as "The Voice" couple were photographed with their hands locked together looking very comfortable with each other.

The country crooner and the No Doubt singer showed their public display of mutual affection after Blake Shelton appeared and performed at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards. Coincidentally, his ex-wife Miranda Lambert was also a guest artist who charmed the crowd.

Entertainment Tonight has learned hours after Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's representative confirmed that the two artists were dating, they went public with their status. Evidence of that were the photos taken by the paparazzi which showed the new lovebirds holding hands on Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee.

The newly confirmed couple can be seen having a solid grip on each other's hand with their free hands carrying beverages while strolling around in the night between the main areas and VIP of the CMA after-party of Warner Music Group which they were attending. Blake Shelton, looking cozy in jeans and button down gray shirt was holding a white cup with no markings while Gwen Stefani rocked her denim pants which she paired with a black top and jacket, held a wine glass.

Meanwhile, the Country Music Association Awards was the first time that both exes, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were seen together — and at a high-profile function at that. The country singers hit the stage and performed each of their latest singles. Miranda Lambert won Female Artist of the Year and remarked in her acceptance speech that she "needed a bright spot this year."

Furthermore, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's divorce was the subject of jokes among CMA Awards host Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. But, Gwen Stefani's new flame took the jokes in stride and even tweeted Paisley back with, “Ha!!! Don’t worry brother man. If there’s anybody on earth who’s learned to take it its me!!! Love you buddy," when the former posted on Twitter and thanked him for "being a good sport," as per Gossip Cop.
