Blood-thirsty and entrails-eating “Walking Dead” fans can now rejoice since the pop-up book for their favorite AMC zombie-themed show is up for grabs starting today! Yes, the blood-curdling pop-up book is finally here, so read on if you want to know where you can purchase one.
Apparently, the day fans of "The Waling Dead" have been waiting for has arrived. It's already Nov. 10, and this just means that the hardbound pop-up book based off of the AMC hit series is already here, as per Insight Editions' official website.
The official description of the book from the back cover reads: "Based on AMC's "The Walking Dead," this blood-curdling pop-up book brings the hit TV series to life like never before. Lurking within its pages are more than twenty ingeniously crafted pop-ups that add a horrifying new dimension to the series. Experience the terror of "Bicycle Girl" reaching out with her decaying arms; the ravenous walker hordes crowding the streets of Atlanta; Michonne's deadly katana skills; and the horror of a walker feeding frenzy. Plus, go inside some of the most memorable locations from the television series and discover the battle-torn West Georgia Correctional Facility, Hershel Greene's doomed farm, and the gut-wrenching secrets of Terminus."
The description also adds that the terrifying book of the dead — or the undead for that matter — features ten pages with blood-drenched illustrations to satisfy the inner walkers among show fans.
"The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book" was written by David Hawcock, Sally Elizabeth Jackson, S. D. Perry and Becca Zerkin. It showcases the most notable walkers in the show, which is currently on its sixth season. And according to ComicBookMovie.com, the show's rating is still unwavering, with its current season drawing in 14.6 million viewers during its premiere last month.
The conception of "The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book" comes after Insight Editions' very successful "Game of Thrones: A Pop-Up Guide to Westeros."
