“America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 22 is coming to an end soon with only four remaining model contestants vying for the final title in Tyra Banks’ long-running and famous franchise.
The competition is now down to four model hopefuls: Lacey Rogers, Nyle DiMarco, Mikey Heverly and Mame Adjei after Devin Clark was sent packing in the previous episode entitled "The Girl Who Took A Shot In The Dark," as per Gossip and Gab.
In an exciting turn of events, Mikey even won best photo in episode 13 despite Kelly Cutrone's comment that his face was a little too intense in their dark concept shoot. He got the highest score since Tyra and Miss J. Alexander loved his photo. Runner-up for the best photo title was Mame. Lacey came in third, while Nyle almost hit rock bottom but was spared from elimination.
This week, the top 4 models are going to shoot for the cover of Nylon Magazine. And it appears that Lacey may be walking on thin ice as Next Bottom Model learned that she will be struggling to find the boundary of sexy and sleazy. Lacey has been one of the strongest models in the competition, so it would be an ultimate shocker if she gets sent home now that the competition is close to wrapping up.
If there's one contestant many show fans want to get eliminated next however, it is no other than Mikey, Many fans took to the show's official Facebook page to sound off why they want him out.
Marie Blackshaw wrote: "Mikey needs to go home. I'm sick of hearing about how he needs to have sex with everyone. It's disgusting. This is America's Next Top Model, not America's Next Porn Star."
Another fan Amy Darling opined: "Mikey is the type of guy who thinks he is God's gift to women. He is always saying 'Oh Mame wants me. Oh Hadassah wants me. I know when a women wants me and Mame wants me.' And he has no respect for anyone. He was very rude to Courtney when she was still on the show and is disrespectful towards women and was disrespectful towards Justin. I am disappointed that Mame let Mikey cuddle up with her like what? and this show is about MODELING not dating.... ugh this show sometimes lol."
In spite of the backlash he's been receiving, it appears that Mikey continues to impress the judges of the show since in a preview of "ANTM" Cycle 22 Episode 14, he is going to win the challenge and the Tyra Suite.
Moreover, guest judge Chrissy Teigen may have phrased her words incorrectly when she says in the clip that since Mikey won the Suite, "your treat is me." However, John Legend's wife was quick to add that they are just going to talk and nothing more.
According to TV Guide, the official synopsis of "ANTM" Cycle 22 episode 14 reads: "Tyra's mom is the photographer for a special photo shoot with the final four models and their mothers. The contestants also shoot a mock cover of Nylon magazine and meet supermodel Chrissy Teigen, who gives them tips on making it in the modeling industry."
