[LEAKED] 'Mortal Kombat X' Has Some Interesting Characters; Horror & Sci-Fi Icon Included!

"Mortal Kombat X's" new character additions have been leaked earlier than the official planned announcement at the annual Game Awards.

As reported by IGN, a video uploaded in YouTube was removed, but not before revealing four new characters coming to the popular fighting game.

The video leak revealed that "Mortal Kombat X" players will get to enjoy classic "MK" characters such as Bo Rai Cho and Tri-Borg — a cyborg that combines Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke all in one character.

But according to Gematsu, the biggest surprise is the addition of two of the most iconic characters in horror and sci-fi history, which are Leatherface from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" films and the Xenomorph from the "Alien" franchise.

In a related report by PCGamesN, the addition of the two horror characters is a treat for fans because for years now as the Predator has been the loneliest fighter in "Mortal Kombat X" because he has no in-lore allies or enemies.

However, with the game's Pack 2 coming, players can use the Predator to have as much as many battle as they want with the Xenomorph until they can have their own version of "Alien Vs. Predator."

According to the report, the DLC will obviously come in a pack, but previous packs have also arrived in individual bits of DLC, so for players who want to save money and does not want to buy them all, there's a great chance that you can buy these four new characters separately.

The game has evolved over the years that it also began to add many characters that are not traditionally in the "MK" lore.

Xbox Achievements.com noted that in the first pack for the game, it added Jason Voorhees, Tanya, the Predator and Tremor.

The "Mortal Kombat" franchise has become one of the most popular and enduring fighting game franchises since it's arrival in the Nintendo NES more than decades ago.

Famous for its gruesome finishes, the game lets the players choose how to end the fight with his defeated opponent like decapitation, dismemberment, maiming and disembowelment.

It also spawned two relatively successful movie adaptations called "Mortal Kombat" and "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation."

And now with the latest game in the "MK" franchise, older players can relive their fun/brutal memories, but with brand new characters to play with.

The game was launched for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC in April with 24 characters with five additional fighters in the pack 1.

The "Mortal Kombat X" Pack 2 will arrive in first quarter 2016.
