Well, that would be the case after they demanded the former "Twilight Saga" actor to marry fiancée FKA Twigs this Christmas in fear of a possible reunion between the exes. However, Pattinson's friends were allegedly against the wedding plans because they're convinced Twigs is a gold digger.
For months, the wedding plans of engaged couple Robert Pattinson have been off-and-on again and Kristen Stewart's name has been incessantly dragged into the issues. But now, reports claimed that Pattinson's family is pressuring him to marry his fiancée over the holidays. The reason? They don't want Stewart to have any opportunity to rekindle a romance with the 29-year-old "Remember Me" actor.
According to an insider, Robert Pattinson's family reportedly prefers FKA Twigs over Kristen Stewart since he has become a much better person that he was with his cheating ex-girlfriend. And Twigs has also opened up this whole creative outlet for him. Unfortunately, Pattinson's friends believed that Twigs is just cashing on Rob's name, Celeb Dirty Laundry noted.
While latest reports claimed that Robert Pattinson's family wanted the actor to marry FKA Twigs this month, Hollywood Life has reported a contradicting story. According to the celeb news site, Pattinson and Twigs' wedding was put on hold because his family was having doubts the British songstress was the right woman for him. Sounds crazy right?
Aside from his family, Robert Pattinson is also having second thoughts on marrying FKA Twigs. The site further claimed that Kristen Stewart's ex was hesitating to get married because he wanted his family's support and their indecision made him confused.
"Robert and FKA Twigs were supposed to get married this year," a source close to "The Rover" star said. "That was the plan, but his indecision over the situation has caused a delay."
"He just wants to make sure everyone in his family is on the same page," the insider added. "It's like, even after all this time, he still has to convince them that Twigs is the right girl for him."
Meanwhile, as the whole Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs and Kristen Stewart's saga has just confused the hell out of their fans, Gossip Cop has slammed the reports that the Pattinsons are not comparing Twigs and Stewart. The report, which was first reported by Ok!, was considered as false by the site.
The celeb gossip site further claimed that Robert Pattinson's family was not weighing out who's better or worse between FKA Twigs and Kristen Stewart. As a matter of fact, they're pleased that the actor is happy in his current relationship and supportive of whomever he chooses to be with. The latest rumors are simply a weak attempt at dragging Stewart into a nonexistent love triangle with Pattinson and Twigs.
