Kristin Cavallari’s Brother’s Body Found After Mysterious Disappearance; Cause Of Death Still Unknown

Days after his mysterious disappearance, Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael was found dead in Utah. The body has been transported to the Office of the Utah Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death. Michael Cavallari initially raised concerns when his 2014 Honda Civic was found abandoned on Nov. 27 on I-70 in Utah. He had also been arrested in California five days before he went missing.

Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael had reportedly been into trouble and an insider even claimed that there's always been a lot of drama around him. Despite Michael's personal troubles, fashion designer Kristin and her brother have maintained a close relationship. And the current events are taking an extremely emotional toll on her, who just gave birth to her third child with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in late November.

"We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time," Kristin Cavallari said in a statement to E! News. "We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving."

Shortly after her statement, Kristin Cavallari shared a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram, accompanied by a photograph of them while they were young, MTV News noted.

"My heart is in a million pieces," Kristin wrote. "Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."

Meanwhile, the body of Kristin Cavallari's 30-year-old brother was reportedly found by search crews in a steep and rocky area in the Salt Wash area, near an exit about five miles from where his car was found. According to NBC News, the Utah Medical Examiner will identify the body and determine the cause of death.

"We found him north west of where the car was located approximately three miles from the vehicle." Grand County Sheriff Steven White revealed. He was kind of on the slope itself, he was not too far from the bottom but he was actually on the slope itself."

"We had a large group of thirty plus people searching out there," White added. "We found him at approximately 10.30 this morning. It was a tough day."

White also added that the Medical Examiner will determine the time and cause of death of Kristin Cavallari's brother while toxicology results may take up to 8 weeks for the results to come back, Daily Mail has learned. Michael was last seen at Maverick gas station in Monticello, 100 miles south from where his car was abandoned.
