It's time for you to revisit the infamous Liberty City once again because Rockstar just released "GTA: Liberty City Stories."

As reported by The Verge, the latest game from the "Grant Theft Auto" franchise to ever hit the App Store is here, and it will cost $6.99.

Originally released way back in 2005, it's amazing to think that this game, which was made specifically first for the PlayStation Portable, is now available on your Apple iPhone.

Featuring the vast and detailed Liberty City of the "3D Era," hardcore and casual gamers alike will enjoy this title for hours.

For those playing it for the first time, the player takes on the role of Toni Cipriani, a mafioso returning to Liberty City after years of hiding because he killed a "made man" Apple Insider has learned.

In his return, he will be shocked to find that the city has changed dramatically since his departure. It's up to him -- and the player -- to do missions, please bosses and eliminate gangs in order for the Leone family take back control of the iconic Liberty City.

However, it's interesting to note that this will not be exactly the same as the PSP version. According to Gamespot, the "GTA: Liberty City Stories" for the iOS will come with "significant enhancements."

Rockstar said in a statement, "With shorter, streamlined missions designed with mobile gameplay in mind, this definitive open-world adventure has been remastered for iOS with extensive graphic enhancements, rebalanced touch controls, cross platform saves, and native Retina screen support."

But unfortunately for those who own older Apple devices, the game is only supported on the iPhone 5 and up, iPad 4th Gen, iPad Air/Air 2, iPad Mini 2, 3 and 4 and the iPad Pro.

Among the specific changes included in the new version of the game is it now features higher resolution texture and character art, compared to the PlayStation version of the game.

In addition, real time lighting and shadows with 60 frames per second gameplay on the iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2 and the iPad Pro are now featured.

It's as if you're playing the best version of the game because it has now an enhanced draw distance, rebalanced controls for touch-based gaming and a cross-platform cloud that saves via the Rockstar Social Club.

But wait, there's more! 3D Touch support for multiple control options and you can even create your own custom soundtrack based on the songs saved on your phone.

If you think playing "GTA III," "Vice City" and "San Andreas" on your iOS device is amazing, wait till you get a load of the new and improved "GTA: Liberty City Stories."

Buy the game and experience Liberty City like never before.
