Two members of Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 have posted a very important revelation through both their Instagram accounts. Skylar Astin and Anna Camp, who played Jesse and Aubrey, respectively, in both films, posted the same photo of themselves on their personal Instagram accounts and captioned it similarly. Skylar's caption was "I asked. She said yes!!!" while Anna's caption wrote: "He asked. I said YES!!!!".
Isn't it aca-awesome?
The proposal took place in Hawaii while they two were having their hliday trip. They have been together for 2 years.
According to People magazine, Camp and Astin started dating shortly after Camp finalized her divorce with her first husband, Scrubs actor Michael Mosley.
On the other hand, it can be recalled that Camp opened up about her relationship with Astin in a 2014 interview with Glamour magazine. She said, "We were friends first and just hit it off. He's just so great, and he's a Libra too. He was dating somebody, and I had been through [a divorce] and he was like, 'Do you want to go on a date?' I remember thinking, Well, he's younger than me. He's five years younger... But I was like, 'You know what? OK! Let's do it, let's see.' He's literally my best friend."
Camp is 33 years old while Astin is 28 years.
Camp also referred to Astin during the interview as a magical person. Such a compliment is considered by fans of the couple and of the movie as "aca-adorable."
Although the newly engaged couple have yet to discuss wedding preparations, it is expected that other members of Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 will be invited. Anna had told ET Online that they remain very close friends with the cast. "We all really do hang out. We actually are friends, and I don't think that is something you can say about all projects or every film."
