Jennifer Lopez Reveals Reason Behind Bruises, Scars She Got From AMAS

Imagine hosting one of the biggest events in the music industry. Stressful. Now, imagine having to change 10 times during the entire period of the event. Even more stressful.

However, singer Jennifer Lopez made it through these two. She just had to suffer some of the consequences: bruises and scars.

Jennifer Lopez, the host to last year's American Music Awards (AMAs), said she had to change so many outfits throughout the entire show. The 46-year-old hitmaker did not disappoint the entire crowd in flaunting her dropping see-through gowns, skin-tight catsuits, and cleavage-baring frocks when she hosted the show in Los Angeles two months ago. However, as a result, she gained "scratches and bruises everywhere".

"I had scratches and bruises everywhere from trying on so much stuff," Lopez said. Thankfully, the singer-actor fully understood this. She said that she knew she had to make an impact by her strong fashion sense and dance moves since those are her strengths. She further explained that she could not rely on her comedy factor to get her through.

"I'm not going to try to be a comedian. I'm just going to play to my strengths. I'm a singer, I'm a dancer and I'm a performer. I've always wanted to be a singer and a dancer and an actress since I was very young," Lopez said.

Meanwhile, while she was able to pull through a great performance and hosting stint (nevermind the bruises and scars), the actress was nto able to escape the issue surrounding her lovelife.

DailyMail reports that even if Lopez has been linked with Casper Smart for the past few years, the singer-actor still do not have plans to on marriage.

"I need to be happy on my own. If someone fits into that, great. But if they don't, that's OK too," she revealed.

The actress said that her main focus as of present time are her eight-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
