Ricky Gervais to Host, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell and Mel Gibson Will Present Awards at Golden Globes 2016

It's awards season again and Golden Globes is around the corner - actually, next week! It's time for celebrities to dress up, get glammed up and party! And Ricky Gervais is ready for them.

Presenters for the show are usually a hush-hush agenda but in an exclusive reveal, Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell will be presenting awards on Sunday. 

Kate Hudson, the Oscar nominated 36 year old known for her role in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, will be presenting alongside her step father Kurt Russell who at 64 years old who recently starred in The Hateful Eight. 

It is not yet known what category which category the duo will present but Ricky Gervais, who is hosting this year's Golden Globes (and hosted the 2010 to 2012 awarding), is excited with the list of presenters. 

One in particular is Mel Gibson. Gervais can't wait to jump on the chance to joke around and in a social media tweet, Gervais posted through his Twitter handle @rickygervais:

Mel Gibson is presenting an award at The Golden Globes. Thank you Jesus. 

Gervais is known for his sarcastic and jokingly jabby quips and even the audience is not safe from the line of fire 

In preparation for the big event, Gervais already has posted an advanced apology for anything that may just happen to be offensive during the awards night ceremony.

This is Gervais' fourth time to host the Golden Globes and on January 1, he tweeted:

Because I can see the future, I'd like to apologise now for the things I said at next week's Golden Globes. I was drunk ...

Eddie Redmayne, Amy Adams, Channing Tatum, Patricia Arequette and Olivia Wilde are also presenting awards at the ceremony. The Golden Globes will air on January 10, Sunday at 8:00 PM ET and 5:00 PM PT live on NBC, as posted online.
