Jimmy Kimmel Helps The X-Files’ Mulder and Scully Catch Up on Technology

The X-Files has been one of the most-watched series (and movie) in the 1990s. It is a story of Mulder and Scully investigating the paranormal given the little evidence gathered. While it is already difficult looking for answers when the paranormal is involved, it becomes even harder when you the tools you are using still belongs to the previous generations - or at least the generation where you first aired your first episode.

Thankfully, The X-Files mega-fan Jimmy Kimmel is on the rescue. He is giving Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) a crashcourse on using today's technology as opposed to that of the '90s.

Although it's not as easy as a walk on the park, Kimmel believes it is possible.

Meanwhile, for those who are on the lookout for the new series, here are episodes you need to watch as refreshers and for you not to get lost in the story.

Pilot Espisode (S1E1): This episode establishes what The X-Files is all about. "Do you believe in the existence of extraterrestrials?" he asks. Her reply: "Logically, I would have to say no."

Paper Clip (S3E2): Paper Clip sets the tone for the series' excellent third season. Paper Clip goes right to the heart of The Syndicate the group of men in cahoots with the alien colonists.

Home (S4E2): Uhm, watch this because it's one of scariest and most violent episodes. Kidding aside, it talks about the "tension between change and a wistfulness for the good ol' days."

Other episodes to watch:

1.     PUSHER (S3E17)

2.     MEMENTO MORI (S4E14)

3.     BAD BLOOD (S5E12)

4.     THE X-FILES: FIGHT THE FUTURE (Movie)

5.     DREAMLAND (S6E4, S6E5)

However, if you've got all the time in the world, then why not look for DVDs of all 202 episodes and immerse yourself in the history and background of X-Files. Don't forget to include the two movies.
