'Star Wars The Force Awakens' Kylo Ren Actor Adam Driver Hosts Saturday Night Live, Jokes About America’s Funniest Cats and Golden Globes

Adam Driver seems to have more than Star Wars blood running through his veins. The actor known for his role as Kylo Ren in The Force Awakens tried out his sketch comedy talent by hosting Saturday Night Live on January 16.

Driver did a series of sketches from the Golden Globes to America's Funniest Cats.

A funny skit Driver did was of America's Funniest Cats, a fake TV show hosted by McKinnon and Cecily Strong. The bit was when Driver asked the duo to narrate a funny video clip showing a cat with its head stuck in an ice cream box, as posted online.

Another one of the skits Driver did was playing a very excited TV writer who then decides to have a wild night at the Golden Globes afterparty to celebrate their trophy victory. He was accompanied by comedy actress Vanessa Bayer, who plays his wife.

While all this is happening, their children played by sketch comedy constants Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney are stuck at home watching the awards show. During Driver's character's acceptance speech, Bayer says to the camera and tells the "kids" a line that forces them to tuck themselves in.

Watch a clip of the sketch below:

Driver started his acting career when he made his broadway debut in Mrs. Warren's Profession. He started his on-screen life as Glen Stetson in You Don't Know Jack, a television series in 2010. He and his films have been awarded and nominated for various awards in 2013. But his popular role would be Kylo Ren from the most recent Star Wars movie.

So it wouldn't be strange if he relived his role as an undercover boss to find out what his loyal employees really think of him. His questions begs to ask a comedic dive to the franchise. Questions like "Do you guys feel like he's really gonna finish what Darth Vader started?" See the clip below!
