‘Independence Day 2: Resurgence’ Updates: Sequel Features Thames And Dubai In Its Lastest Sneak Peak

The upcoming Leonard Emmerich film "Independence Day 2: Resurgence" proved that the 20 years of waiting for a sequel may be well worth it. The sequel to the 1996 movie "Independence Day" will even show more exciting details aside from the looming alien war invasion.

What's next with "Independence Day 2: Resurgence?" Lawyer Herald mentioned that the film will cover the fall of the city of London. The destruction that caused the expansive attacks on earth will even go as far as London. In the trailer that was once featured in the Super Bowl 50, fans could see a part of the city of London that is being encroached with falling fired-up debris in great lengths.

Scified also probed more into the details about the scenic invasion in London from "Independence Day 2: Resurgence," and based on the write-up made for the movie, this is introduced as "London has Fallen." In total ruins, the earth's skyline even illuminates a fireball of impending danger. The screenshot even captured the London eye and what was described as the city of Thames.

Injecting London in the landscape is an unexpected move, but aside from Thames city, "Independence Day 2: Resurgence" also featured a famous landmark in the middle east region, the highly-cited Burj Khalifa in Dubai which is regarded as the tallest artificial structure in the world made its way in brief seconds in the movie.

Aside from Burj Khalifa, The National also detailed that Singapore was also part of the trailer of "Independence Day 2: Resurgence" that was shown recently.

"Starting at the 20-second mark of the 56-second clip (watch below), Singapore can be seen rising out of the sea before, inexplicably, the Burj Khalifa can be seen raining down on London." noted based on the outlet.

The trailer for "Independence Day 2: Resurgence" just highlighted 55 seconds of what to expect in the film, there might be more to come aside from these tidbits.
