‘Reign’ Season 3 Cancelled Rumors Put To Rest; Series Slated To Return On April 25; Queen Mary Returns To Scotland [VIDEO]

"Reign" fans should be excited to learn that "Reign" season 3  is scheduled to return on Apr. 25. The first episode of the second half of the season reveals that Queen Mary is returing to Scotland.

The fateful first episode is just two months away, but news have already sprouted all over the fan world that Adelaide Kane, the actress who plays Queen Mary, is coming back to her homeland. The question is, will she be welcomed?

Recent posts have determined that Mary might be going home because Kane made a social media suggestion on her Instagram page. The actress posted a picture of her dressed in Mary's costume. She is seen sitting in a dark castle. To tease her social media followers, she captioned the post "Queenie in the castle... But which castle!?"

The last time Mary was seen, she has been having difficulty finding a husband to become her ally against England. However, with Scotland slowly turning against her, she has limited choices and her chances of winning are slimming which is why finding out which "castle" she goes to intrigues fans.

The show's writers have already announced that they've finished writing the second half of the season. To celebrate, the writers posted a non-revealing status update on Twitter: "That's a wrap on writing #ReignSeason3!" they captioned. They described this season as amazing and are obviously excited for fans to see their work.
