Lil Wayne's new album in 2016 might still be unavailable but Weezy sure is not wasting any time in making new tracks and collaborating with other artists. "The Drop The World" artist's upcoming album "Tha Carter V" is still pending as of writing.
"Tha Carter V" which was supposed to be released in 2013 was postponed and delayed several times due to many constraints made by his record company. The "No Worries" hitmaker even flooded the social media sites in 2014 about his sentiments against his recording company Cash Money and Birdman.
"To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it," he said. "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation."
"I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy," Lil Wayne said in a tirade of Twitter posts last 2014 regarding his album "Tha Carter V."
Apart from these inconvenient circumstances, the "Right Above It" rap wonder is still making a huge name and tracks by collaborating with other artists. Tracks like "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" and the "Free Weezy Album" were released in 2015 to appease the cravings of the fans with his upcoming album.
Meanwhile, Pitchfork detailed that the rapper recently worked with 2 Chainz in "Collegrove" album and even released a video entitled "Bounce" with the artist. In the video, Lil Wayne even included some lines from his famous track "A Milli" and apart from his creative work with 2 Chainz, Weezy F. Baby also executive produced Rich Homie Quan's new upcoming album "Rich In Spirit."
Although the upcoming new album of Lil Wayne "Tha Carter V" still has no confirmed release date as of now, Young Tuneche surely knows how to keep his sound moving with his various projects on the side.
