Former Employee - Reviewed Mar 5, 2013 - New

Pros - Northwestern Mutual has a great education program. They teach their interns and new employees how the business is run - the ins and outs.

Cons - Selling life insurance is no fun

"Associate Financial Representative" - 3 Stars

Current Associate Financial Representative in Albany, NY - Reviewed Feb 19, 2013

Pros - Good starting career; encourage growth in terms of credentials.

Cons - The way the company is structured there is not a lot of room for growth unless you work under a Managing Director or Partner. You are also working more for an individual Advisor rather than the company Northwestern Mutual, so you want to be sure that the advisor has a good reputation and not just NMFN.

"Nice solid company with good values" - 4 Stars

Current Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI - Reviewed Jan 25, 2013

Pros - Good benefits, free lunch, location and solid
