Galaxy Note 6 Release Date Confirmed For August? Phone To Have Hybrid Design?

The Galaxy Note 6 release date will reportedly be in August. There are rumors that Samsung is creating a hybrid for its upcoming device.

According to Australia Network News, the handset will have a more compact design with a lower screen to body ratio. The Galaxy Note 6 will also have a 2560 x 1440 screen resolution.

The device will be water resistant and its camera will have dual pixel technology. This will provide good snapshots even in conditions with low lighting. Similar to Samsung S7 Edge, it will have a 3,600 mAh battery for longer screen time.

It was also noted that the highly-anticipated device will have microSD support. This may use Android Marshmallow's adaptable storage and will allow users to utilize a microSD card seamlessly like the internal storage.

The publication added that Samsung may have slated the Galaxy Note 6 release date in August before the IFA 2016 in Berlin. This would give the tech giant a chance to get ahead of Apple when it introduces the iPhone 7.

In a report by MNR Daily, it was revealed that there are speculations that the Galaxy Note 6 will have a whopping 6 GB of RAM. Moreover, internal storage is believed to reach 356 GB.

However, Know Your Mobile reported another rumor indicating that the gadget will only have 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage options. Another interesting detail that has been revealed by the website was the design for Galaxy Note 6.

Apparently, Samsung may be developing a hybrid design for its future Note devices. The concept shows a handset that can be docked with a large-form tablet, which can also be docked with a keyboard.

This allows it to become a laptop. All the processing power, though, would come from the phone.

The Galaxy Note series is already deemed as a mini computer. With this design, it appears as if future versions will have enough power and storage to actually become a proper computer.
