‘Captain America: Civil War’ Updates: Russo Brothers Detail Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Will Make Fans ‘Happy’

After Marvel released the second trailer of "Captain America: Civil War" last week, the craze for Tom Holland's Spider-Man increased as the young lad entered the last seconds of the trailer aiming his web-shooting skills at Captain America. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo recently talked about the inclusion of Spider-Man in the movie and how vital is his part is for the upcoming superhero film.

"I think they'll be happy." Joe once hinted to Forbes when asked about how fans will receive Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the upcoming movie.

Anthony on the other hand implored more on how Spider-Man is instigated in the "Captain America: Civil War." Anthony said from the interview, "I'll say this, part of the fun of Spider-Man is that this film is basically a war amongst the Avengers and Spidey does not have the baggage that all these other characters have. He enters the story after the conflict that is happening between the Avengers and that gives him a very unique place in the story."

The Russo brothers also shared how strenuous the process is in putting another superhero in "Captain America: Civil War." Anthony even said that "it was a very complicated deal that Sony had to work out with Marvel Studios and Disney in order to make that work."

Meanwhile as it turns out, the audience anticipation for Tom Holland's portrayal of the web-slinging hero is well-received. The 19-year-old British actor once said that it was a dream come true for him to play the superhero. Holland who recently starred in the movie "In The Heart of the Sea" also shared that he made himself fit in doing gymnastics as a preparation for his part as the new Spider-Man.

"I basically did like a somersault into frame and then a somersault out of frame 'cause I basically - I was like, they may never see this, but if they do I need them to know that I've got some gymnastics abilities and stuff, and every tape I sent in I always did a little acrobatic demo to try and convince them to give me the role," Holland said according to Cinemablend.
