E3 2016 [UPDATE]: Rockstar Games To Unveil ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ At E3 Event?

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 is still expecting to lure more attendees this year despite the fact that four major gaming publishers have chosen to ditch their spaces at the event. The annual convention for the gaming industry will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Jun. 14 to 16, 2016.

One of the reason that E3 2016 might be drawing more crowds this year would be the various announcements and unveiling of upcoming games at the event. And according to Breathecast, Rockstar Games is reportedly unveiling "Red Dead Redemption 2" at the said event.

"Red Dead Redemption 2," however, would not be release until 2017, Frag Hero adds. And the upcoming game installment will carry the title of "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West."

As for the games' other features, The Christian Times reveals that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be utilizing larger maps including the Mexican deserts and the North American landscapes, in addition to railway lines and metropolitan locations.

The game, which is set to be unveiled at E3 2016, will also allow gamers to explore the game further for a more engaging gaming experience. And "Red Dead Redemption" can be played on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Aside from Rockstar, "Saints Row" and "Dead Island" publisher Deep Silver will also have a major announcement to make at E3 2016. Unfortunately, the "major announcement" remains uncertain but IGN hints it's probably regarding on the two games the publisher is currently working on - "The Revolution" and "Dead Island 2."

Other major Deep Silver properties such as the post-apocalyptic shooter "Metro" and "Saints Row" are currently quiet. So, what do you think will Deep Silver announce during the E3 2016 event in June?

Meanwhile, Nintendo NX will reportedly be fully revealed before E3 2016. Design & Trend notes the first official details about the console might be arriving in a matter of months if known rumor source NeoGAF user, Orgen is to be believed.

"We'll get more NX info before E3," the source reportedly posted. "It'll be more related to a full reveal than a 'we're working on it and we'll see more at E3,' so that's why I said that I don't know if this new info will be in the briefing meeting or a separate Direct."

So, do you Orgen's claims about Nintendo NX are true? Could it be possibly revealed before E3 2016?
