AJ Clemente 'Fired F-Bomb' News Anchor Gets $2.23 an Hour Job at Bar

AJ Clemente, the anchor man that got fired on his first day at work after he swore on camera, has found a job - as a bartender this time where he is free to curse as much as he wants.

After Clemente, 24, got fired from the North Dakota news station, he made a few appearances on national television including on the Late Show with David Letterman, and now he has settled down with a $2.23 per hour gig at a bar.

"This is what I'm doing for now. I definitely need to make money for bills," Clemente, 24, told RumorFix.com. Clemente added that he would work behind the bar through the summer before sending out his resume for any TV news openings

During an April 21 broadcast of the evening news, Clemente didn't realize that his microphone was live and blurted out an expletive as he tried to pronounce the name of the London Marathon winner (Tsegaye Kebede). He then fumbled through an introduction as his co-anchor tried to help him recover from the mishap.

Clemente, although he made an honest mistake (he later explained that he didn't know he was on-air because his ear piece wasn't in - neither was his co-anchor's - and the show was running two minutes earlier than scheduled without prior notification) it was a mistake too large to ignore. It's going to be tough for anyone to hire him as an on-air personality without it appearing as a PR stunt.
