Kelly Ripa Bizarre, Uncanny Journey To Get A Job In ‘Live!’

Kelly Ripa has gained massive popularity for being a strong public figure. However, behind the charm and fascination, Kelly Ripa had an uncanny and bizarre journey before getting a job in "Live!."

Kelly Ripa has dominated the entertainment news cycle for the last week after she walked off "Live! With Kelly and Michael," angry that Disney-ABC executives left her out of the loop about co-host Michael Strahan departing for "Good Morning America, a report from The Washington Post revealed.

Ripa's journey to success and limelight was a bizaare and uncanny one because she landed the job without proper measures and preparation. Before Ripa joined Regis Philbin behind the "Live!" desk in February 2001, she joined the network's soap opera "All My Children" back in 1990 and her natural, quick-witted, unaffected, confident, fun-loving kind of sparkle brought the job right into her doorstep, according to the same post.

However, with office politics existing, Rita is presently facing an ordeal that has affected her life and her work. More report from E Online revealed that Rita faced much scrutiny but she rebutted by saying, "I really needed a couple of days to gather my thoughts. After 26 years with this company, I earned the right."

"It started a much greater conversation about communication and consideration and, most importantly, respect in the workplace," Rita added on to note.

Rita might have spark a controversy surrounding women at work but her present ordeal has led to more women supporting her cause, as she demanded for respect in a society that devalues women and more importantly, she has caused her show to gain momentum and epic attention.
