Will “Red Dead Redemption 2” Be Available In Nintendo Switch?

There is a slim chance that the latest "Red Dead Redemption 2" will make it to the Nintendo Switch, but a remaster of the original Red Dead makes a lot of sense for the Nintendo console.

The biggest gaming news this month is a virtual tie between Nintendo announcing their latest handheld console hybrid and RockStar Games revealing the latest entry to the "Red Dead Redemption" saga. In a perfect world, gamers would be playing the new "Red Dead Redemption 2" on their new handheld Nintendo Switch. But as it looks like, the title won't be going to the console.

RockStar recently announced that the game will release in Fall 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One system. This could be due to a couple of things, RockStar could be trying to hold off the announcement of a Nintendo Switch port of the game because they are waiting for the Japanese company to unveil the Switch. On the other hand, maybe the Switch won't be powerful enough to accommodate the new "Red Dead Redemption 2"

Hopefully, the reason would be the former rather than the latter.

There is still some glimmer of hope that Nintendo fans would still get the "Red Dead Redemption 2" game. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of RockStar is already on their list of publishers confirmed to be making games for the Nintendo Switch.

Another possibility is if they decide to make a remastered version of the original "Red Dead Redemption" game and putting it into the switch. That would make it a fine consolation price as well as an addition to the Switch's beefy gaming lineup.

Hopefully, gamers will get more answers in the next few games. Right now, gamers can keep their fingers cross that the open world western game can make its way to the Nintendo Switch.
