'Final Fantasy XV' Updates: Release Date Delayed; Game To Take A More Open World Approach

The official September release of "Final Fantasy XV" got off to a bit of a hiccup as it was delayed until November 29, but everything seems to be right on track and smooth sailing until its release. Seeing that it will still be a month's time before fans can get their hands on the latest "Final Fantasy" game, let's recap what we know so far.

The game has been in development for a whopping ten years going through several delayed releases, cancellation news, and broken hearts. But "Final Fantasy XV" is now a reality and as stated above will be released on November 29.

Noctis Lucis Caelum, who is the crown prince of the Lucis Kingdom, is the main character of the game. He will also be the only playable character in the game. He is joined by his three friends Gladiolus Amicitia, Prompto Argentum, and Ignis Scientia.

The story will focus on his battle with the Nifelheim army who invaded his homeland.

"Final Fantasy XV" will let players engage numerous side quests and hunting contract which is independent of the Gameplay. It will take a more open world approach where gamers can explore the world more. The game will also boast of letting you wander in beautiful sceneries and amazing cinematic places that fans have come to expect from the series. From impressive ice caverns to hidden tombs and into majestic waterfalls all rendered beautifully by the Playstation 4 or Xbox one.

One thing fans will enjoy the most is the way the game will let you acquire magic and extreme weapons. Something which will come to no surprise to longtime Final Fantasy fans. The game would also feature a refined battling system and it is going to be both strategic and action packed.

With the demo already played by some, there is a good chance that "Final Fantasy XV" will match that 10-year hype in the making.
