The latest gaming console from Nintendo has been announced to the world last Friday. Though a lot of questions have been answered, a good chunk has also been left out. Nintendo has failed to release a lot of info like specs, official games, features, and most importantly price.
Although the reveal trailer has barely scratched the surface of what the Switch can do. There are already enough evidence and compelling reasons why you should not hesitate and buy Nintendo's latest shiny gadget.
Here are some of the reasons that you should buy the Nintendo Switch:
1. It would make a good second console.
Besides a few exclusives, the Xbox one and Ps4 are virtually the same consoles. Sure, fans could argue all day how their console can squeeze an extra pixel over the other. But the fact is there is no groundbreaking reason to buy one over the other.
The Nintendo Switch changes all that, you can have a Ps4 or Xbox one and still buy a Switch as your second console. Even if the Switch will most likely have modest specs when it comes to power, its handheld capabilities and Nintendo exclusives might just be enough to sway you to adopt it.
2. It is going to be the best mobile gaming device
Mobile gaming has already reached the "billion-dollar industry" status. And those who are already exposed to a lot of mobile gaming may soon set their sights on the Nintendo Switch. It offers gamers the best possible pedigree when it comes to games on the go with Nintendo's massive handheld library. Plus, a lot of indie games will most likely find a good home with the console.
3. It looks like it will be geared for adults
Nintendo has this rap among mature gamers that it is aimed towards kids aged 12 and below. But looking at the trailer, there was not a single child featured and the games had a good chunk of mature games like Skyrim and 2k17. It is beginning to look like Nintendo is finally chasing those who grew up playing their games.
And of course there is Mario, you can never be too old to play Mario.
