New MacBook Pro Slams Microsoft Surface Pro 4 And Surface Book

The MacBook Pro line has not received any major upgrade in recent years, but rumors suggest that the Cupertino-based company has some changes for the pro line that will put its competitors to shame.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 & Surface book has some pretty impressive hardware and features. But if the rumors about the latest MacBook Pro line is true, then those models might need another upgrade.

The new MacBook Pro will try to push the envelopes of how thin a powerful laptop could get and how low its weight could go. The trackpad is said to get a vast improvement and the body will get a few cosmetic changes.

An OLED display touch panel is one of the major upgrades and will replace the function keys at the upper part of the keyboard. It is said that apple will be calling this part of the laptop as the magic toolbar.

The internal specs of the new MacBook Pro will get a major overhaul when it hits stores. The rumor is that Apple is going to use the new Skylake chips from Intel that will make the new laptops a whole lot faster than previous models.

The highest model could have an i7, Quad Core, and 2.80 GHZ.

The new MacBook Pros will also boast of new powerful graphics cards that will be aimed towards addressing graphic design tasks and heavy gaming use. The rumor is that the laptop might use AMD's Polaris 11 architecture.

The display will have a much-needed upgrade from previous models, though it is highly unlikely that fans would finally get the 4k resolution that they have been yearning for.

One good news is the headphone jack would probably still be available for the line and it will start using USB-C ports.

The New MacBook Pro line will be unveiled this Oct. 27.
