Wedding rumors about Korean heart rob Lee Min Ho and K-Pop idol Suzy Bae have been going on ever since they formally announced their relationship last year.
However, none of the rumors about their wedding or cancellation of a wedding has been confirmed by either party. Now, fans are speculating that it might have been just a publicity stunt to promote Lee Min Ho's new Korean TV series, "Legend of the Blue Sea."
Suzy Bae recently starred in "Uncontrollably Fond" which follows the story of Shin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin) and No Eul (Suzy Bae), a couple who separated in their younger years. Shin Joon Young became a famous actor while No Eul became a documentary producer. The two met in life later on when No Eul was assigned to make a documentary about Shin Joon Young. While the show seemed good on paper, "Uncontrollably Fond" suffered poor viewership towards the end of its run and has been considered a flop.
Suzy Bae was later linked with her "Uncontrollably Fond" co-actor, Kim Woo Bin but it was later debunked by Lee Min Ho himself.
With the end of Suzy Bae's series "Uncontrollably Fond" two-month run last September, it has been rumored that Lee Min Ho is concerned that his new Korean drama will be considered a flop too. "Legend of the Blue Sea" is Lee Min Ho's major TV comeback after his last series "The Heir" ended in 2013, and it is important for him that the show does not rate poorly.
The new series follows the story of a son from a noble family who falls in love with a mermaid. "Legend of the Blue Sea" also stars Jun Ji Hyun who plays the role of a mermaid who arrives in Seoul. The series is slated to air November 16, 2016, at SBS every Wednesdays and Thursdays.
